Before we know it, our grounds will be filled with campers, visitors,
and guests and we need to get the camp in tip top shape for everyone.
Please help us get ready for the upcoming season! There may
be hard work involved but we also have a lot of fun working
together as a team. Plus, who can resist the stunning surroundings
and the tasty meals Camp Cavell provides!

Preparing the expansive camp for winter takes a village of volunteers to complete. Alongside our incredible staff, you would be taking on
tasks such as closing up buildings & cabins, clearing leaves & brush,
and cleaning gutters. Please consider joining us for our fall clean up.
The more hands helping will make the work go by much faster!

volunteer for counselor in training (cit) Program
A valuable program perfect for 15–17-year-olds wanting to become future leaders!
- Attend training orientation with our counselors and program staff.
- Get assigned a cabin and program area for 2-3 weeks.
- Assist counselors in leading a cabin of 9 campers and carrying out activities.
- Potential opportunity to be invited back for the co-ed overnight week (Week 5).

- Practice the counselor application process with an interview & references.

Once the program is complete, you will further sharpen your leadership skills by completing a "practice" counselor application process with an in person interview. Then you are one giant step forward in preparing to be an official counselor at Camp Cavell Conservancy!
