As the season changes, it’s time to prepare our expansive grounds for the winter months ahead. We invite you to join the Camp Cavell family for a day of hard work and fresh air during our Fall Clean Up.
From clearing autumn leaves to buttoning up our cabins, every bit of help ensures the camp stays safe and preserved until spring. We can’t do it without our incredible volunteers! Please check back soon for more info and updates on how you can get involved!

Volunteer for Counselor In Training (CIT) Program
A valuable program perfect for 15–17-year-olds wanting to become future leaders!
- Attend training orientation with our counselors and program staff.
- Get assigned a cabin and program area for 2-3 weeks.
- Assist counselors in leading a cabin of 9 campers and carrying out activities.
- Potential opportunity to be invited back for the co-ed overnight week (Week 5).

- Practice the counselor application process with an interview & references.
- Earn over 100+ volunteer service hours!

CIT Counselor in Training During Summer Camp!
Once the CIT Orientation is complete, you will further sharpen your leadership skills by completing a "practice" counselor application process with an in person interview. Then you are one giant step closer to becoming an official counselor at Camp Cavell Conservancy!
