Celebrating Local Fiber Farms, Weavers, Spinners, Knitters, Crochet and other Fiber Artists from the Thumb of Michigan. Three days of workshops during the 2 day Festival with vendors offering everything from alpaca, wool, angora, mohair and more in fibers to spinning & weaving supplies, yarn and finished knitted, crocheted, woven or felted wear & much more.

The festival is being hosted by Camp Cavell Conservancy. Located on the shore of Lake Huron between Port Sanilac and Lexington, MI the camp has a lot to offer. The large lodge and dining hall are spacious and open. There is also a large pavilion with canvas side walls. By the buildings is a large green grassy area, if weather permits. Easy access for the public between the buildings on handicap accessible sidewalks. 

The professional camp kitchen will be offering meals/concession stand during the event. Camp Cavell also provides Gluten Free & Vegetarian options for your meals. The kitchen is also nut-free. Please NO Nuts (ground or tree nuts) while out on the grounds

Own RV and cabin is available to rent. See below for more cabin details! A $50 deposit is due at the time of reservation. This deposit is non-refundable within 7 days of your arrival, unless closures due to COVID. Remaining deposit is due 7 days before your arrival. OTHER CABIN NOTES
Bedding and towels are NOT provided. Cabins have toilet paper.  We ask that you sweep and tidy the cabin before your departure and tie up any garbage and leave it just inside the cabin door. 

SAFETY & SUPERVISION
Parents/Guardians are responsible for the actions, safety, and supervision of any members of their party under the age of 18.  Children under the age of 16 must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior.  All parties must have a responsible adult over the age of 21.  Any guests affecting the experience or safety of other guests will be asked to leave without a refund.  Guests attending with or without minors will need an adult 21 years or older to act as the responsible adult for their party.
The camp’s focus is on enjoying nature and the community of the camp.  We discourage adult beverages from being brought to camp and cannot leave cabins; current law states that a person must be 21 years of age.  If we have a children’s group in camp, NO alcohol will not be allowed on site.
