4th of July Family Weekend
A wonderful place to spend the 4th in the North! A beautiful beach, spectacular sunrises, and friendly people. Where else, but Camp Cavell in the summer time. And that’s just where everyone will be for this fantastic family weekend. Relax and enjoy this peaceful paradise or join in on the fun!
Quick Info
Our camp staff & volunteers will help make the weekend exciting and filled with adventure! Home cooked meals are served daily with campfires and s’mores. There are a variety of activities scheduled throughout your time at camp. Afternoons are spent on the beach and the evening we all gather together for a large group activity.
Sleep in Cabins
Each cabin sleeps 8 to 12 people and has electricity, heat, bathroom and shower. Everyone brings his/her own sleeping bag (or bedding) and towels. Shared cabins are made as we receive registration forms. Family, groups & individuals may be assigned with similar groups until cabins are full. Friends and family may request to be placed in the same cabin, please use the area provided on the registration forms.
Remember to bring special items for this program
• Clothes (i.e. socks, t-shirt, shorts etc.) to tie dye! • Items for decorating your table in the dining room.
Fireworks Information:
You can bring fireworks that are legal in the State of Michigan but they can only be fired off by an adult in our designated area at a designated time! All spectators must view fireworks from our viewing area and one adult representative is responsible for firing off their own fireworks. Camp Cavell is not responsible for injuries or damage caused by fireworks.
