“Shay’s” Men & Women Getaway Weekend

Join Shay and her friends for a wonderful weekend in a beautiful location on the shores of Lake Huron.

Saturday Night Karaoke, All Day Saturday wear your favorite Sport Team Attire, (Best Dress Contest), Pilates/Kick Boxing (bring mat), Gel Candle Making, Jewelry Making, Make your own bead, Crafts, Foot Reflexlogist, Make Over, Silent Auction, (bring something for auction), Motivational Speaker, Campfire (bring jokes, songs & stories), Night Walks, Beach Walk, Nature Trails, Canoe & Kayaking, (weather permits), Indoor & Outdoor Games, Latest & Oldies Dance Moves, Sunday Morning Inspiration & enjoying one another. Located only 90m miles northeast of Detroit, CAMP CAVELL carefully combines over 55 acres of wooded and recreational land to create a perfect setting for a camp experience. Its rustic fireplaces create a relaxing atmosphere. Mature timber stands, open grasslands and a natural creek border on 1800 feet of dramatic Lake Huron shoreline.

Camp Cavell has a capacity of 250 people and its facilities include a large lodge with hardwood floor, administrative offices, a large dining hall and kitchen, health cabin, and staff housing.

Most of their facilities are accessible for people with physical limitations, including the wonderful ramp to the beach.

The heated cabins each hold 8 - 10 people and have inside bathrooms with showers!

ninety miles north of Detroit, or Twenty-five miles north of Port Huron camp is on the Lakeshore Road (M-25) just 4.5 miles north past the town of Lexington, Michigan. If you look at Michigan as a mitten it is on the knuckle of the thumb! See Map!
