Camp is divided into a north and south
property. On the north property is the Northwood and Southwood
cabins and on the south property is the Brookside cabins. See Facility Details for
descriptions of each area.

Camp Cavell is easy
to get to, just 90 miles northeast of Detroit. Near the town of
Lexington Michigan just north of Port Huron. We are on the
knuckle of the thumb.

YWCA Camp
Cavell has great food, our campers say so! We are world famous for our
Chocolate Chip Cookies and our homemade rolls are scrumptious and there is
always plenty to eat.

Much to our dismay, we are only able
to get dial up service at camp and it is very, very slow! Listed here
are local WIFI spots!
History
The YWCA has a long
record of service to it's community! We began taking girls
camping back in 1914. Camp moved to it's present location in 1927
and has evolved to become a wonderful facility serving over 4000 people
a year!
