WHAT:    ServSafe CLASS

WHEN:    Wednesday June 4th, 2008  8:30 – 5:00 pm.

WHERE:  YWCA Camp Cavell
                   (4.5 miles north of Lexington, MI., on Lakeshore Road)

WHY:         New  laws  passed  in  Michigan  will  require  food  service establishments 
                   to employ “certified food managers” who must be able to demonstrate
                   a working knowledge in the areas of Food Safety, Food Sanitation, and the 
                   current concepts and principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point.  
                   All restaurants will be required to have a manager certified in food
                   safety by June 30, 2009.

IMMEDIATE CHANGES INCLUDED IN THIS TRAINING:  
                  There are changes in the food handling rules that already went into effect
                   as of April 1, 2008 that your staff need to know! 

COST:  Discounted to $120 per registrant, Lunch Included
               ($95 if you have your own ServSafe book, must be 4^th addition)
                Note: some ServSafe classes cost up to $300

CERTIFICATION:  ServSafe Certificate good for 5 years.

PRE-STUDY:  YOU MUST DO the pre-work that comes with the class in order to participate!  (Register early and have more time to study!  We will send you your book when we receive your registration fee)
