NEW KAYAKS ARE A HIT THIS SUMMER!

Thanks to our friends at Detroit Industrial School!

Ten new sit on top KAYAKS arrived late last year thanks to the Detroit Industrial School who awarded us a grant for new waterfront equipment.   We have two double ones so you can paddle with a friend! 

Campers report that they were a "BLAST".  They are perfect for our lakefront and easy to empty when a wave fills them.  Splash fights were the most popular sport. One group played keep away!  Several groups were able to paddle down to the shipwreck that is about a 1/2 mile down the beach in about 8 feet of water.  It can only be seen on days when the lake is still so it is a treat when a group gets to discover it!
